The course was primarily flat with some fast pavement sections, off camber turns, and plenty of headwinds. The Men’s A race saw Jed Schneider (Alan Factory) taking the victory. Series leader Michael Cummings (KHS/Cycleyouth) was able to retain his lead over Nathan Race (Reality Bikes) in a field sprint near the end. The race started with Schneider taking an early lead only to bobble in one of the off cambers and be caught by the charging field. As the race went on, Schneider was able to establish his lead over an 8 man chase group that seemed inseparable. In the end it was Schneider taking the victory with Cummings taking the sprint for second. The Women’s race was dominated by the Travel Girl team with Kim Foland (Travel Girl) defending her series lead against Ellen Carroll (Outspokin). Foland’s teammate Kim Sawyer came in second.
