| Name: Phil Thuaux Nationality: Australian DOB: 9th July '79 Years in Team Cyclingnews.com- Down Under: Second year Aims for this year: Develop last year's experience into this year's
results When did you start cycling, and why: Mid 1999 to get fit for Skiff
sailing World Championships Biggest inspiration: In Cycling - Brad McGee for his professionalism
and good ethics/attitudes Best experience in racing bikes so far: Being able to live in
or travel to entirely different cultures throughout the world. How's life in Belgium and where do you live? Bit chilly to start
with, and no beach, but it's a interesting contrast at times. I live with
the other Aussies in the team in Booischot. Learning Flemish (if English-speaking): A little through our daily
experiences, but probably not as fast as if we were living with the natives Favourite bar if visiting home town: Beer Garden at Terrigal Inn
Crowne Plaza (on the beach) Favourite (Belgian) beer: Still not qualified enough to decide! Most essential non-cycling piece of equipment: In Europe - Good
jacket and laptop. Back Home - Tube of sunscreen Latest CD you bought - Was it any good: INXS '79 - '97. Not bad
        at all. |
