• Bart Wellens (Fidea) chased his heart out but ran out of time to catch the leaders.
• Sven Nys (Landbouwkrediet), Lars Boom (Rabobank) and Bart Wellens (Fidea) on the podium in Nommay.
• Lars Boom set the pace and challenged the rest to follow. Sven Nys came, but Klaas Vantornout could not.
• Sven Vanthourenhout (Sunweb-Projob) was at the front early on with Boom and Nys.
• Lars Boom takes the win in the Nommay World Cup.
