Day 3 - November 9

McGrory & Gilmore's lead reduced to 3

After the third day of competition, the Aussie-Belgian duo of Scott McGrory and Matthew Gilmore hold onto a slender three point lead from the Swiss pairing of Bruno Risi and Kurt Betschart.

With 28 six-day victories, 39 year-old Italian Silvio Martinello, who is paired with the Australian Stuart O'Grady, announced that this event shall be his last, opting to finish his career on the biggest event on the six-day calendar. Unfortunately, his partner O'Grady crashed in the early part of the night, however he is expected to be back in action for the remaining three nights.
