Day 2 - November 8

McGrory/Gilmore hold their own after two nights

The Six Days of Munich has quickly become a battle of three teams, with favourites Scott McGrory/Matthew Gilmore in the top position on 119 points after two nights of racing, followed by Swiss duo Risi/Betschart on 107 points, and Dortmund winners Kappes/Beikirch in third on 99 points. All three teams are on the same lap, with a group of four teams at three laps down. Even though there are still four nights to come, that will be a hard distance to make up for these teams.

The racing was fierce on the second night, with Kappes/Beikirch making a strong start in the first madison, before McGrory/Gilmore and Risi/Betschart took over later on in the evening. The Australian/Belgian combination came out on top at the end of the night and earned themselves the leader's jerseys, but there is not much in it.
