There are some big names in the hat for round two. Britain's Chris Hoy is still unbeaten in over twenty Keirin races and he won his heat easily again as did Arnaud Tournant (Cofidis-France), Roberto Chiappa (Italy) and Gregory Bauge (France). Britain's Ross Edgar stuck on Tournant's wheel in his heat and qualified for his second place. So there are two French and two Brits going through, which may be handy for team tactics later.
