Risi/Betschart in last minute surge

A strong performance on the final night has given Swiss pair Bruno Risi/Kurt Betschart the overall victory in the Dortmund Six Days in the Westfalenhalle. The duo beat last night's leaders Andreas Kappes/Andreas Beikirch by a comfortable margin of 20 points, with Rolf Aldag/Scott McGrory finishing third overall, one lap down.

It was Risi and Betschart's 32nd victory as a pair, their first coming in the Dortmund Six in 1992.
