Race 2 - January 1:

Symmetrics extends lead

Svein Tuft and Zach Bell put one lap on Slipstream and two laps on Healthnet and Successful Living tonight. Symmetrics now leads with two laps over Slipstream Sports, three laps over Healthnet, and four laps over Successful Living.

Slipstream took first place in the first Madison of the night and the one-rider Elimination race, while Symmetrics took first place in the second Madison of the night and the one-rider 40 lap points race.

Play of the Day award goes to Christian Meier of Successful Living, for avoiding a crash by diving into the infield, driving through the rider pit, back onto the track, and straight up to his partner riding high on the banking.

LA Lightning was riding at full strength today, with Brian Crosby recovered from his crash last night.

100 lap 10x10 Madison

The night started off with a 10x10 madison. Slipstream, Symmetrics, and Healthnet took a lap on Successful Living, its nearest rivals. Local phenoms Cody Campbell and Mark MacDonald are the surprise team of the week, with another top five placing. Slipstream tied Symmetrics for points, but one the race by taking first place in the final sprint.

Elimination

One rider from each team took to the boards to contest an Elimination race, with a rider being eliminated every four laps. Dave McCook showed his experience, making it to the final two, just being outrun by Pearce in the final sprint.

Points Race

The other team rider took to the boards to contest a 40 lap Points race. Symmetrics and Healthnet both took a lap on the field, with Symmetrics outscoring Heathnet by two points to take the win.

120 Lap 6 x 20 Madison Race

The second Madison of the night saw Symmetrics take one lap on Slipstream and Successful Living, and two laps on Healthnet. A crash involving Slipstream and Healthnet put the two teams on the defensive, with Healthnet going down a lap as a result.
