As the pace hots-up, the line strings out as riders sort themselves out before the rush for points starts on the fourth day of the Bremen Six-Day.
Much to the delight of the crowd, Erik Zabel outsprints Andreas Beikirch in the Aladin sponsored sprint event on the fourth day of the Bremen Six-Day.
Erik Zabel and Marco Villa acknowledge the applause of the crowds as they are presented with their winners bouquets. Legendary Six-Day start Patrick Sercu (now race director) is on the left of the photo.
