On a windy night at the velodrome, Jamie Thynne was in scintillating form taking out the night's feature event, the Capital Cycles Elimination Race, in an enthralling tussle with visitor Matt Yates. Thynne also won the distance race easily from promising junior Matthew Bell.

Shayne Riches has gone clear at the top of the Burger Wisconsin Aces Sprint series taking maximum points in the one lap sprint from vet Chris Taylor. Sarah Butt remained unchallenged as the top woman performer at the velodrome.
