EICMA show -Milan, Italy, September 15-18, 2006Main Page Previous Part Next Part Part 15 - September 15-18:Rudy Project rocks with two new Italian eyewear offerings for 2007By Tim Maloney in Milan, Italy Treviso-based Rudy Project has always been on the cutting edge of design and style with its sport optics and for 2007 the company will launch two new styles that will be well appreciated. Debuted at this years Tour De France by Damiano Cunego (Lampre-Fondital), who won the Best Young Rider, and Michael Rasmussen (Rabobank), who was awarded Best Climber, Rudy Project's new Syluro model has plenty of features liked by top riders. Created with ultralight CarboGrilamid frames, with hidden hinges and the Ergonose3 adjustable bridge, Syluro has Quick Change lens technology that is especially adapted to prescription lenses. Syluro fits poly-carbonate RPOptics lenses, with Rudy Project's patented easy-in, easy-out, lens system which allows prescription lenses to be clipped in behind the outer lenses. For the two wheel fashionist and style dudes, Rudy Project's new SportMask model has a fashion sensibility with sport optical performance. SportMask features large, wraparound lenses with stylish tone-on-tone tints. For that presto-changeo effect, Rudy Project's new SportMask has Quick Change lens technology and a durable frame made in tough Grilamid TR 55 LX material. Shown here in Pink Girl colorway, the new SportMask brings the catwalk to the bike ride! Black Hole Sun Shown here with FL-R24 Aerolite wheels, SRAM Force groupset, Black Hole 940 carbon monoblock style stem, Black Hole 65-gram monocoque carbon fibre saddle and CL2 Team brakeset, FRM's Blak Hole was certainly one of the most unique and lightest bikes on show in Milano. San Patrignano + Pesenti = Power To Help The program aims at putting an end to addiction and social marginalisation through individualised paths to recovery based on dignity, honesty, responsibility, respect for oneself and others. At three sites in Italy, San Patrignano uses professional training as an instrument for the total social rehabilitation of the people welcomed into the community. In San Vito works with recovering addicts to create some of the most distinctive and special bikes on show at Milano. Photography
