Interbike 2002Las Vegas, USA, October 5 - 8, 2002Interbike part 2 - Letting your hair downSinclair Imports, the US distributor for Carnac, DeRosa, Deda and other top brands, hosted an invitation only party for their top retailers and selected industry guests. In attendance were many celebrities including Greg LeMond, George Hincapie of US Postal, Tyler Hamilton of CSC Tiscali, and Axel Merckx of Domo. Cyclingnews.com was the exclusive web site in attendance and got these pictures of cycling luminaries signing memorabilia for fans and generally having a good time. Alas, the show didn't get off to a good start for the US distributor of Colnago, Trialtir USA, Inc, who announced on the morning of day one that the special CF3 Colnago, that Cyclingnews featured last week, had "gone missing" en route from Indianapolis to Las Vegas. The Colnago-Ferrari CF3 was unveiled to the Formula One crowd during the recent US Grand Prix in Indianapolis. As the bike was individually numbered, it should be hard to hide.
