Team Dogfish report
Kyia Malenkovich and Stephanie Leibke traveled to Durand, WI for the first on-pavement road race of the season. Malenkovich and Leibke attacked early in the 27 mile race splintering the field. This caused a breakaway to form with Malenkovich, Leibke, and pro road rider Stephanie Hannos. The three riders put a huge gap on the chasing field, but neither Malenkovich nor Leibke were able to match Hannos, with first Leibke coming off, and then Malenkovich, allowing Hannos to solo for the win. Malenkovich ended up taking second and Leibke third, after a very hard day on the road.
