The epic six kilometer hillclimb to the Hinterhorner Alm attracted more than 70 cyclists to Gnadenwald. A lot of the local "big names" took part in the race.

It was all the show of Andi Traxl. He took control of the race at the start. The 30 year old Austrian won the race in 24:05 minutes - a new race record. Erich Schafferer (24:32), Reinhard Stuefer (24:45), Harald Berger (24:50) and Richard Obendorfer (24:50) also finished inside the 25 minute mark.
