6th CSC Classic (GP Aarhus) - 1.3Denmark, May 5, 20022001 Results Results Past winners Jalabert wins CSC ClassicLaurent Jalabert won the CSC-Classic in Aarhus after having launched the decisive attack with 50 km to go The field was then split up due to the cross-winds. Jalabert had Allan Johansen (EDS-fakta) and Rik Reinerink (Bankgiroloterij) with him but they were no serious problem in the sprint. "I was tired towards the end but I feel that I'm coming back after my sickness. I am rally happy with this victory that I know means a lot for the team but also for myself", a happy Laurent Jalabert said after the race. "We tried to control the race today and we were successful at it. It was also obvious that yesterday's hard race (GP Midtbank) made it's mark on the race today. We tried to be ahead all the time and everything worked out as it ought to", said CSC-Tiscali's sports director Alex Pedersen.
