Sandstød takes GP ÅrhusCSC-World Online did a Mapei in the Århus Grand Prix by taking a triple. Without sprinting for the win. "He wanted to win and that's OK with me", said second placed Nicolai Bo Larsen about Michael Sandstød's win. Latvian teammate Arvis Piziks rolled in as third. The winner himself was a little less willing to discuss the diplomatics after the race "Since I couldn't win yesterday (GP Herning) I did it today. I don't really know what kind of lies I'm supposed to tell you", a smiling Sandstød said afterwards. Team manager Bjarne Riis was also involved in the discussions but let the riders take their own decision. The race was decided with some 40 kms to go when the CSC trio took off from a 15 rider strong front group. Only Saturn's Mark McGormack could follow but he had had enough when the six finishing laps in Århus started with 30 kms to go, and finished with 6th place and the Climbers Competition.
