had one of those days in the saddle when things didn't go his way but he would remain in yellow after the stage.

was hopeful to get into the break and he did.

from Korea fell heavily early into the descent at Genting Peres and was taken to hospital in an ambulance and withdrew from the tour.

and Tonton Susanto (LeTua Cycling Team) tried to get across to two leaders in the final twenty kilometres.

René Weissinger (Vorarlberg-Corratec)
and Jeremy Yates (LeTua Cycling Team) were holding a slender lead on two chasers and the peloton with a little over 15 kilometres to the finish.

Chris Sutton (Garmin-Slipstream)
crashes heavily at 70 km/h in the mad dash to the line in Bandar Baru Bangi.

Samai (LeTua Cycling Team)
takes out stage four into Bandar Baru Bangi.

A fist pumping Samai was delighted
with his stage win and put an end to Mattia Gavazzi's hope of a fourth straight stage win.

Samai's LeTua Cycling's teammate, Jeremy Yates,
was wrapped with the stage win after he rode strongly in the break and himself claimed the King of the Mountains jersey for his efforts.
