- Rahsaan Bahati (Rock Racing) delivered on his season promise to win the US criterium title.
- Hmmm, you look familiar… didn't I see you riding in a race in France last month?
- A much thinner field this year with the Tour of Utah also running.
- Dan Bowman (Kelly Benefits Strategies-Medifast) had to do a 'cross change with a non-mechanical bike problem.
- A good mechanic makes all the difference.
- Former winner Hilton Clarke (Toyota-United) oddly had to fend for himself with no teammates.
- Mike Sayers (BMC) racing in his last crit champs.
- Sterling Magnell (Rock Racing) won last night and paid his teammate Rahsaan Bahati back today.
- Brad Huff (Jelly Belly) won here in 2006 but had bad luck today.
- Nice weather was a welcomed change compared to last year's rain.
- Rahsaan Bahati (Rock Racing) stayed calm and collected in the field.
- Jonathan Cantwell (Jittery Joe's) tried to go for the half-race prime, but lost it to Hayden Godfrey (Inferno).
- Cornering in turn eight.
- Christian Vande Velde (Garmin-Chipotle) did not exactly have criterium form coming off the Tour de France.
- But he still put in a good solo effort.
- The field finally begins to close in on Vande Velde.
- The catch is made.
- Dan Bowman (Kelly Benefits Strategies-Medifast) pushes his pedal clearance to the max during his dangerous solo move.
- Two to go and all together.
- The final lap and Toshiba-Santo is working for Hekman.
- The last right turn with Kevin Lacombe and Jake Keough (Kelly Benefits) followed by Karl Menzies (Health Net-Maxxis).

- Brooke Miller (TIBCO) doubles up on her stars and stripes wardrobe with a criterium title after winning the road title a few weeks ago.
- Kat Carroll (Aaron's) was a favorite coming with good form.
- Meredith Miller (Aaron's) made some riders nervous with solo attacks.
- Brooke Miller (TIBCO) bided her time with help from her teammates.
- Laura Van Gilder (Cheerwine) and Kat Carroll (Aaron's) made it into a dangerous move.
