The first mountaintop finish to Passo Lanciano, a tough climb in the mountains of Abruzzo with a steep final 12km to 1306m. These are the backyard training roads of homeboy Danilo Di Luca and the Liquigas-Bianchi man surely be going for the win atop the Maieletta climb.
