Stage 19 - September 24: Ávila - Collado Villalba, 142 km
A relatively short leg breaker at just 142km crowded with four Cat. 3 climbs, one Cat. 2 and one Cat. 1 climb through the Sierra to the east of Madrid between Ávila and Collado Villalba. It will be another day of high tension in what promises to be an open race till the end, with the wind and mountains always a factor. Today and tomorrow are the last days for the climbers to get themselves a buffer before the final flat time trial on Sunday.
