Stage 6 - September 9: Benicarló - Castellón de la Plana, 157 km

Another day of action for both the sprinters and the climbers, with the 900m Cat. 3 climb of Puerto de la Mirona, the Cat 2 Coll de la Bandereta and just before the finish line, the Cat 2 Desierto de las Palmas. Each climb is preceded by a sprint, so the lead will be changing hands quite a bit before the final downhill/flat 25 km into Castellón De La Plana. It's a day of pressure, humidity and for the teams to keep their eyes open for any threatening moves.
