Stage 13 - September 17: El Ejido - Málaga, 170 km

A cruise by the beach will make for great viewing, but the peloton will have no time to take photos as they follow the coast for the 172.4 from El Ejido to Málaga. The climbers will be making the most of today, resting their legs before tomorrows return to the mountains, while the sprinters try to take control of the peloton. The wind will always be a factor and it is likely that some of those not in contention for the general will hunt for a stage win by attacking along the way.
