Stage 1 - September 4: León - León (T.T.T.), 28 km

As in previous years, the first stage of La Vuelta a España will see the teams roll out for a team time-trial. This years TTT has the teams rocketing along the streets of beautiful León, in what should be a fast-paced affair, with the last 15km of the 27.7km course a downhill run for the finish-line.

Both the gold leader's jersey and the orange mountains jersey will be up for grabs, with mountains points awarded at the highest point of the course.
