- Olympic road
race champion Sara Carrigan performed some official duties, including
starting the elite men's race and presenting the medals.
- The first
of many spills begin in the women's under 19 criterium, with a tricky,
off-camber U-turn at the southern end.
- After an
early crash that halved the field, the leading bunch of three dictated
proceedings in the women's under 19 criterium.
- Skye-Lee Armstrong
(Paramatta CC) backs up her win from yesterday's road race to take out
the national criterium title.
- 12 years
and four Olympics apart - Olympic road race gold medallists from 1992
and 2004, Kathy Watt and Sara Carrigan.
- Eventual
winner in the men's under criterium, Tyler Mclachlan (Southern Cross CC),
a picture of determination.

Club in Brisbane.

sprint in the elite women's criterium, Alexis Rhodes (Norwood CC) prevailed
over Liz Young (Lifecycle CC).
- Alexis Rhodes
(Norwood CC), winner of the elite women's race, showed why she's the best
female crit racer in Oz.

of Sport team win the trophy for the top club, winning the most points
throughout the 10 days' racing at the NRCC.
