The riders make an early appearance in the Barossa Valley this year. Traditionally the decisive and penultimate stage of the race, 2003 will see the mountain men conquer Menglers Hill on Day 2.
Starting from the new Jacob's Creek Visitor Centre the race will travel through the Barossa Valley against a backdrop of charming vineyards, native bushland, stone bridges and 19th Century architecture.
SA Lotteries Sprint points are on the line at Mt Pleasant and again at Eden Valley while Menglers Hill will see the riders do battle for Laubman & Pank King of the Mountain bonuses.
