Bradley McGee can ride a four kilometre individual pursuit faster than some elite squads can ride as a quartet, averaging close to 60 clicks an hour for four minutes, all on his own. Scary, isn't it? No surprise then the good-looking New South Welshman has now matured to become a feared prologue and TT specialist, recently winning the prologue of the Dauphiné Libéré from his compatriot Baden Cooke - over a distance you might say was rather familiar to him: 3.6 kilometres. However Brad doesn't just want to be master of the chrono; he wants that and more.

How can it get any better then this. A stage victory in the Tour de France is the ultimate and I am still waiting for someone to tell me it has all been a fantasy - not true - a mistake. Until this happens I will continue to feel these great sensations, continue to smile and continue to thank all the wonderful people in my life that make such victories possible.
An amazing day that was 'written' to be just as it finished. In the team meeting I was given instructions to hit the field at 1km to go and have Baden near me creating confusion to the other teams. I hit it perfectly and was never in doubt of holding the bunch off.
Surely, If I had chosen to take Baden for the sprint the result could have been the same for FDJEUX.COM but today was chosen to be my day. I am sure Baden's day is still to come.
