Nationality: Australian
Team: La Francaise de Jeux

Bradley McGee can ride a four kilometre individual pursuit faster than some elite squads can ride as a quartet, averaging close to 60 clicks an hour for four minutes, all on his own. Scary, isn't it? No surprise then the good-looking New South Welshman has now matured to become a feared prologue and TT specialist, recently winning the prologue of the Dauphiné Libéré from his compatriot Baden Cooke - over a distance you might say was rather familiar to him: 3.6 kilometres. However Brad doesn't just want to be master of the chrono; he wants that and more.

Stage 4 - Wednesday July 10: Epernay - Château-Thierry TTT, 67.5 km

It was never going to be pain free but wow did I have some concrete legs at the finish. A block head wind for most of the 67kms and a nasty climb made heavy going but the FDJEUX.COM kicked it over well and we are happy with the ride.

Never is the Teams Time Trial going to be our speciality but we kept a tight close formation and turned over well for the entire course. ONCE, US and CSC must have had the stick fully down and there would be a few boys hurting tonight from those teams. So the first real test has been fought concerning General Classification with ONCE coming out on top but the man, Armstong looks good.

Tomorrow will be fast and difficult if the wind blows but I am hoping for a bunch gallop - Baden is roaring for a stage win and I am ready to launch him into the sprint zone. Looks like more high speed fun and games with an all up bunch sprint offering the ultimate adrenalin rush.
