- The fog was super thick and the roads wet
- Jim Boyd. A treasured member of the CRCA based in NYC.
- U23 Team Sakonnet with Andrew Guptill in the center who finished the Tour of Georgia the week before
- Alexander Lavalee (VW/Trek) returns yearly for this race
- Team Louis Garneau at the start line all is ready and green
