Mother Nature the winner as Pro 1-2 and Category 3 races cancelled

With a lower then normal turnout already expected due to the Easter holiday, Mother Nature (Unattached) began pelting the Puget Sound area with torrential rain, winds and temperatures near to or at freezing, Friday evening. Clearly counting on Saturday's Snohomish race to sap the will of most racers, this tactic proved successful if unsportsmanlike. Although a protest against Ms Nature's win was lodged by Johnny Sundt, race organisers had to admit that no rule specifically prevented the use of weather to affect he outcome of the race.
