The event ran from Tuesday June 8 through Saturday June 12 and featured a variety of challenging courses. The LRC Elite Team, Global Phone Sales/ Healthy Choice managed to win two of the events, and finish on the podium in the overall. June 8: The E Center Sandy Perrins and Gardie Jackson represented the team in the day's breakaway. Allan Butler and Ryan Barrett shut down the field to allow the breakaway to gain time and both managed to sprint into the points, giving the team more options in the coming days. June 9: The Gateway The Gateway mall provided a great opportunity for race fans to view some exciting action. With only three team members in the race, Global Phone Sales/ Healthy Choice was seriously outgunned, but still managed to put all team members in the points. The race came down to a field sprint won by Jeff Louder of the Navigators Insurance Pro Cycling Team. June 10: Rocky Mountain Raceway The Rocky Mountain Raceway may have been built for cars, but bikes ruled the day. Sandy Perrins featured in a breakaway for over half the race, which was caught in the waning laps. With three laps to go, the skies opened up and a cold rain poured down upon the riders. Ryan Barrett took advantage of the slick roads and escaped to victory as the majority of the field crashed on the icy drag strip finishing straight. June 11: Park City A circuit-like course around beautiful Deer Valley provided the backdrop to this exciting race. In the end, a field sprint. June 12: Sugarhouse Park A staple of Utah racing, Sugarhouse Park provides a wide open fast, rolling course. Ryan Barrett made the breakaway with Jesse Gordon and Aaron Jordan, both of Porcupine Grill/Contender Bicycles. The break managed to stay away by the smallest of margins with Barrett winning the sprint.
