Race reports

Stage 1 - April 17: Time Trial

Doug Loveday (Trek/VW) wins over Burke Swindlehurst of Navigators Insurance. GlobalPhoneSales/Healthy Choice placed four riders in the top eight.

Stage 2 - April 17: Criterium

Relatively uneventful as far as the overall is concerned. Race leader Doug Loveday suffers an unfortunate crash, taking him out of the event. GlobalPhoneSales.com top rider, Sandy Perrins injures his knee forcing him out of the race as well.

Stage 3 - April 18: Road Race

A large breakaway including Marc Yap of GlobalPhoneSales.com/Healthy Choice got away early. Marc represented the team well before faltering late in the race. The break was eventually caught by an elite group of chasers including Gardie Jackson and Jessie Westergard of GlobalPhoneSales/HealthyChoice.
