44th GP Kanton Aargau/Gippingen - 1.HCSwitzerland, June 10, 20072006 Results Results Past winners Gadret takes first win in GippingenBy Susan Westemeyer Frenchman John Gadret of Ag2R attacked out of a four-man escape group to take his first road victory in the GP Kanton Argau - Gippingen. Raffaele Ferrara (Team LPR) was second, Tomasz Marczymski (Ceramica Flaminia) third and Marcel Strauss (Gerolsteiner) fourth. On the sixth of 10 rounds of the course, a 13-man strong escape group formed, which included Wiesenhof's Steffen Wesemann. The group got away and stayed away. On the last lap, about 15 km before the end, the four top finishers got away again. Gadret escaped from his companions in the last kilometre to win by three seconds.
