AG2R puts Dion on top

French rider Renaud Dion has won his first professional race, the GP Samyn in Fayt-le-Franc. Dion benefited from the presence of his AG2R-Prevoyance teammate Mark Scanlon in the winning breakaway of six, successfully attacking with 5 km to go to win. Het Volk winner Philippe Gilbert (Francaise des Jeux) won the sprint for second ahead of Matti Breschel (Team CSC).
