PreviewThe 34th edition of the Tour du Limousin may not boast a lineup as star studded as the Vuelta a Burgos, but it does have a strong French representation, including national champion Didier Rous (Bonjour). Recent winner of the Regio Tour, Patrice Halgand will head a strong Jean Delatour contingent, including Laurent Brochard and Laurent Roux. These riders are likely to be the favourites for the four day event, with foreign interest coming from Unai Etxebarria (Euskaltel), Bobby Julich (Credit Agricole) and Alexander Botcharov (Ag2r). In total, 15 teams will ride the race. The 701.7 km race starts on Tuesday with a 169 kilometre stage from Limoges to St-Yrieix-la-Perche. The second stage from Saint-Just-le-Martel to Ussel, 166.5 kilometres, is likely to be the toughest with the côtes de Sussac (km 44), Saint-Yrieix-le-Déjalat (km 91) and Margerides (km 149).
