New South Wales

Illawarra Cycle Club

The Illawarra Cycle Club is located 80km south of Sydney in Wollongong. With great scenery from the coast to the mountains, riding can be a great experience.

Track Racing is held on Wednesday nights from 7pm. The velodrome is an outdoor 270m track. The Track is located on the main road (Princes Hwy) through Unanderra just south of Wollongong.

Road racing occurs on Saturday (March - September) or on Sunday (October - February) on quiet roads near Dapto - 15km south of Wollongong (details available on Website) with various distances being covered.

Marconi Fairfield Cycling Club

Marconi Cycling Club based in the Western Sydney suburb of Wetherill Park. Racing conducted on Elizabeth St during winter from 2.00pm. During summer (October - April) Tuesdays 6.00pm @ Elizabeth St, Wetherill Park & Saturday Afternoons in Britton St, Smithfield from 3.30pm C/D Grade & 4.30pm A/B Grades. (Beat the Heat). New South Wales Cycling Federation

The New South Wales Cycling Federation is the governing body for cycling competition in New South Wales, and is affiliated with the national body, Cycling Australia. The Federation has more than 70 affiliated clubs and 4500 affiliated members. The Federation and clubs offer comprehensive road, track and mountain bike race programmes for various categories of rider, from under-11 boys and girls through to men and women in their 60s and 70s. New members are welcome and may join by becoming a member of an affiliated club.

Northern Sydney Cycling Club

NSCC is another one of Sydney's largest and most successful amateur racing clubs. The club runs races throughout the year and welcomes visitors from other clubs to all our races - all you need is a NSWCF licence.

Penrith Panthers Cycling Club

The Penrith Panthers club are based in the far west of Sydney (about 50 km from the centre). Their website is designed to inform viewers of the club, and to provide information about what is happening in the club, club racing, and who is leading the pointscores.

Parramatta Cycling Club

The Parramatta Cycling Club is one of Sydney's most successful amateur racing clubs, especially in the junior divisions. They conduct road racing during winter and track racing and criteriums during the summer months and all are welcome to compete.

Randwick- Botany Cycling Club

The RBCC is based in eastern Sydney in Maroubra. The club organises racing on most Saturday afternoons at Heffron Park from about 2:30 pm.

Critical Mass Sydney

Critical Massers meet to drink rasberry cocktails and discuss the current state of the world - particulary the world of cycle activism, ten days before each Friday ride. These meetings have helped make Critical Mass Sydney one of the biggest and most entertaining mass rides in the world.

Velodrome - Sydney Olympics

Designed to be Australia's premier track racing facility, the Velodrome is located within The Crest of Bankstown, an area of recreational parkland with existing athletic, hockey and soccer fields, at Bankstown in Sydney's west.

Waratah Veterans Cycling Club

The Waratah Veteran Cyclists Club was formed in 1994 to carry on the traditions of cycle racing at Homebush Bay, which go back to the 1950s. The Waratah club took over from the Homebush Veteran Cyclists Club which had been operating since 1981.

Races are held every Sunday morning, in various locations. Contact the club for more details.
