The 10th edition of the Trofeo Luis Ocaña, named after the Spanish
climber with the same name, was won by Kelme's Oscar Sevilla who had
a considerable margin to second place at the finish. On the 190 kilometre,
mountainous race, Sevilla beat home Haimar Zubeldia (Euskaltel) and
Jon Odriozola (Banesto) by 6'18, after a strong attack in the mountains.
