Stage 5 - July 5: Vannes - Vitre, 202 km

This stage, starting in the French coastal town of Vannes, heads northeast to finish inland in Vitre. Another 'flat' stage, peppered with undulations that will make the sprinter's legs quite heavy after the previous day's team time trial.

The weather: a typical Bretagne summer's day. Lots of puffy clouds off the the ocean, and cool, fresh tempaeratures. The peloton are likely to encounter crosswinds from the left early on, with a tailwind into Vitre. A lot of people are expecting some opportunistic breaks early on, but it is expected to come back together for a sprint finish.
