Stage 14 - September 10: Santander-Lagos de Covadonga, 146.5 km

Leaving Santander, the race travels another 146 kilometres to Lagos de Covadonga, again on the northwestern edge of Spain. The obvious difficulty of the day - apart from the category 3 Alto de Rebollada is the finishing climb up to Lagos de Covadonga. At 12.5 kilometres rising 900 metres, this is going to be an important finish. The steepest section is in the middle at 11 percent before it levels out at the top for the finish.
