Stage 10 - September 4: Sabadell-Super Molina, 165.8 km

Stage 10 from Sabadell to Super Molina will see the riders tackle the highest peak so far in La Vuelta, the Coll de la Creneta, a 1920m category 1 climb at kilometre 130. Following this, the peloton will descend to Alpe (1160 m) before the final drag up to the ski station of La Molina, another category 1 climb with its summit at 1700 metres. This stage, coming as it does after the time trial in Tarragona, should see some consolidation take place in the overall standings.
