• Richard England was another VIS rider showing strong form and looked a good chance for a high finish.
• 19 year-old Ben King had a long trip from Western Australia, and found himself in the final break.
• The nine leaders, led by Pearson, got clear of the main bunch and were left to fight it out amongst themselves.
• In the end, Tim Decker was too strong in the sprint, and was elated to take the win on his 14th attempt at the 2007 Melbourne to Warrnambool Classic!.

• Eventual race winner and local boy Jesse Anthony (Jamis) takes a high speed turn from the high part of the course onto the lower field.

• With no one in sight, Lyne Bessette could ride her own pace for the rest of the race.

• The Tour climbs it's way out of Ulverstone on the 78.5km stage four to Penguin.
• David Pell (Savings and Loans) gets a break on the rest in teaming rain on the road out of Ulverstone.
