who had a successful Comonwealth Youth Games in Australia not so long ago, leads the field in the Girls Future Stars Scratch race.

World Pursuit Champion Sergio Escobar Roure (Illes Balears)
wins the Invitation Points Race to show that despite a lot of road work, he has plenty of speed. The Spanish rider is set for a busy season, defending his world crown and riding the Tour of Italy, one of his team's targets.

World Junior Scratch race champion, Geraint Thomas
tried hard to win races with many attacks off the front to show off those rainbow stripes but was unable to cross the line first. He's now off to Sydney with the British team for the World Track Cup there.

Sergio Escobar Roure (Illes Balears)
one of the special guest riders who the large crowd came to see and he didn't dissapoint, winning the Points race. His events include the Tour of Majorca.

British Junior champion Ben Swift
almost took the Points race off World Pursuit champion Sergio Escobar Roure (Illes Balears), scoring the same amount of points but losing the race on countback.

Once a points winner in the Tour of Spain
and still one of the top road riders in the UK, Malcolm Elliot (Pinarello RT) was in fine form as he prepares for the 2005 road season where he says he intends to be more selective about the events he rides.
