- Sara Carrigan and event organizer Peter Sunderland seeing the riders off.
- Jack Griffin didn't ride this year but was also there at the start.
- Ben Brooks (Cheeky Monkey) was in good form leading up to this race.
- The peloton passes over the Clarence river, still in the neutral zone.
- Meanwhile back at the A grade Men a large breakaway had formed, and had a 13 minute lead on the peloton at the base of the climb.
- Crowd favourite Jorge Libonatti (Hinchinbrook) in the leading group as the break starts its asent of the Gibraltar Range.
- The Gibraltar Range ain't no walk in the park.
- Richard Vollebregt (Caravello) leads the break up the mountain.
- It wasn't all black and white.
- Bradley Mills (Clarence St Cyclery) was the first to the top and took maximum KOM points.
- The remnants of the break descend the Waterloo range, 52 km from home.
- Trent Wilson tried his best to reach the leaders but could only get as close as a minute and a half down.

- Jennifer Finlay led up most of the way up the Gibraltar range but was caught by Kathy Watt
- Kathy Watt looked strong up the major climb of the day
- Jessica Ridder also looked strong
- Kathy Watt powered away after the climb, never to be caught again
- Jessica Ridder and Laura Bortolozzi fought out the minor placings
- Kathy Watt was the hungriest today
- And took a convincing win
