Stage 14, Canberra Circuit Race, 100 km

Saturday, November 11, 2000, 12:00 - 14:40

Results

Canberra will host the final two days of competition with the first race a traditional circuit event. It will be a fitting climax to the tour with Canberra staging all three facets of road cycling.

The cyclists will undertake a car lift from Batemans Bay to Nowra prior to the race start.

The 100 kilometre stage could still determine the overall race with the hills of Canberra providing a strong test for the national and international stars. The circuit is the same that was used for the Women's World Cup earlier this year.

Canberra remains the perfect city for road cycling and the ACT Government has been one of the major contributors to the development of our sport.
