In the Elite Men's race, the pack initially stayed together with Rick Feldman (Durance Cycleworks) at the front, then Russell Stevenson (Bianchi) got a small gap and was chased hard by Troy Heithecker (Recycled Cycles) and Eric Atwood (Ritchey) but marked by Mark Hansen (Bianchi).
Russell stayed away with Eric Atwood coming in for second place, followed by Troy Heithicker (Recycled Cycles) third, Mark Hansen (Bianchi) for fourth, Richard Feldman (Durance Cycleworks) fifth, and Richard McClung (Broadmark Capital) coming in for sixth.
