Race #2 in the North Carolina Cyclo-Cross season was held Sunday, November 2nd, 2003 at Bond Park in Greensboro, NC with with a record participation of 148 racers. This the second race in the seven race North Carolina Cyclo-Cross Series was hosted by Cycling Spoken Here bike shop.

The elite Men's A race was won by Daniel Doub (Fuji SE) from Cary, NC, and the Women's A race by Candice Blickem (Genesis Scuba) from Winston Salem, NC. Racers enjoyed unseasonably warm sunny weather and a fast dry course that twisted around Bond Park.

The North Carolina Cyclo-Cross Series moves to Valle Crucis near Boone, NC for race #3. The race held on Sunday, November 9th, 2003 will begin with the Men's C/Women's B/Junior's race at 12:00pm and end with the Men's A race at 3:00pm. Race #3 is being hosted by Boone Bike and Touring bike shop (828) 262-5750.
