The Way of the Fixie

You control the speed of a fixie by back-pressure on the pedals as well as by braking, so only a front brake is necesssary. An unconnected lever will make the bike feel 'right' and scrounging spare half-packs of bar tape adds beater-bike dirtbag chic.
