Mälarenergi team report

Swedish third division Team Mälarenergi got into trouble even before the first stage started, with the bikes being lost during the air transport. With the help of the other teams they were able to borrow some bikes for the first stage but specially climber Fredrik Modin (third in the Tour of Sweden) suffered since he couldn't get a bike small enough. Otherwise this race, with all it's tough climbs, would have been an opportunity for the little Swede to excel once again. Now he and his team mates will have to concentrate on stage results only.
