Today's stage of the Giro delle Regioni was a 23.8km time trial, with the first half flat and the second half mainly climbing. Ashley Humbert tried hard to improve his GC position while the others rode conservatively. The time trial was won by Volodymyr Starchyk from the Ukrainian national team, while Ashley finished 40th to improve his GC position to 35th; he is lying 7th in the under 21 classification.
