Stage 2 - May 21: Banyoles - La Seu d'Urgell, 191.9km

The third stage is one of the toughest for this edition, as the riders head west into the mountains outside Andorra for an arduous 191.9 kilometre journey. The route includes two category one climbs as well as the painfully steep Pedraforca climb (hors categorie) which is just a shoulder on the way to the final category two climb which crests 52 kilometres from the finish line. With the final 20 kilometres on a treacherous descent followed by a short uphill finish, this stage will be one for a confident bike handler with a punchy sprint.
