Burgess takes victory
Handicap riders, Lorrainne Burgess and Murray Thompson led throughout to take fill the first two placings. Scratch rider, Silas Fisher outsprinted his co-markers to finish third and record fastest time of 1.04.29 for the 45 kilometre race. Shayne Kirby was fourth from Shane Edwards, fifth.
